Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator with expertise in vulnerability scanning, including proficiency with Tenable solutions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring network support and vulnerability scanning for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mmanage network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitor network traffic and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Tenable to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive patch management strategy to keep systems up-to-date and protected against known vulnerabilities.
  • Configure and maintain firewall rules to enforce security policies and protect against unauthorized access.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures to effectively address security incidents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts.
  • Generate regular reports on vulnerability assessment findings and progress in remediation efforts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of network security efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools, with a strong emphasis on Tenable solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and best practices (e.g., CIS Controls, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tenable Certified
